Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders Shave Heads for Leukemia Awareness

Coach Chuck Pagano of the Indianapolis Colts was diagnosed with leukemia on September 26th this year. Many players have shaved their head in support. The support for the coach and Leukemia awareness did not end there. Sunday nights victorious 20-13 win against the Buffalo Bills showed cheerleaders Megan M. and Crystal Ann's sportsmanship. The two ladies were taken aside after the third quarter to get their heads shaved on national television and in front of more than 60,000 live fans in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Blue, the teams mascot, posted a twitter challenge November 11 asking for one cheerleader to shave her head to raise $10,000 for leukemia research. Megan immediately volunteered, and altogether $22,000 was raised for the cause. “I just shaved my head,” Megan stated. “These people are going through the battle for their life and they’re really the ones who deserve all the praise."
