Matt
Barkley, Insights #1 pick for the top college football quarterbacks of 2012,
suffered an injury recently. Barkley sprained his shoulder after the USC
Trojans lost to their rivals, the UCLA Bruins, with an ending score of 38-28.
USC coach Lane Kiffin stated, "I feel bad for him and his family, this is
obviously not how you want it to be." The QB was sacked with only 2
minutes remaining in the game, and received examination by training staff
before walking off the field. This injury means that Barkley will have to sit
out on the highly anticipated Notre Dame VS USC game on Saturday, which will be
heartbreaking for fans.
